Composition

Ranitidine USP 150 mg

Indication

Renicon is indicated for the treatment of duodenal ulcer, bening gastric ulcer, post-operative ulcer, chronic episodic dyspepsia, Reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome where reduction of gastric acidity is beneficial.

Dosage

For Adult: Duodenal and Gastric Ulcer: 150 mg twich daily or 300 mg at night for 4 to 8 weeks. Gastro-esophageal reflux disease: 150 mg twice daily or 300 mg at night for 2 weeks. Reflux esophagits: 150 mg twice daily or 300 mg at bedtime for up to 8 weeks or in necessary 12 weeks. Chronic episodic dyspepsia: 150 mg twice daily or 30 mg for 8 weeks (in duodenal ulcer 300 mg can be given twice daily for 4 weeks to achieve a higher healing rate). Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: 150 mg 3 times daily and increased if necessary up to 6 g daily in divided doses. Dosage should be continued as long as clinically indicated.
